EcoSesame is a company specialised in the production and international trading of high quality sesame grown in Senegal and surrounding countries (Gambia, Guinea-Bissau,...).
We operate through a group of companies dedicated either to international trading or production:
- the international trading company, located in the United Kingdom (London), serves our customers around the globe,
- the production company, located in Senegal, works closely with local cooperatives of farmers. We check, process and clean the sesame crops but also provides services, logistics, assistance and training to the farmers on best practices to increase production and comply to international farming standards.
We offer a type of sesame seeds highly valued for their white color, large size, taste and extremely oil-rich.
After harvest, seeds are transported to our processing factory in the south-central of Senegal where they are cleaned, processed and packaged usually in 25 kg bags. Our production facility consists of tractors, sesame cleaning processing line and several storage spaces on a total area of 1 ha.
A certificate of quality is provided by SGS, a well-known independent quality control organisation, before we can ship the seeds to our international customers from the Port of Dakar.
